At Hope’s Land of Candy, we want you to know that our existence started in the mind of Hope decades ago! At the early age of eight, she dreamt of owning her own candy shop! She went so far as to ask her parents about renting out particular store spaces upon noticing that they were available!
As the years went by, her vision faded to the background for a time until her father became ill. She then started considering this dream again, as it started to take on a deeper meaning with her realization that life is short and that it makes sense to do something you love when it comes to your career.
After her father passed away, she had a serious conversation with her mother, Joanne about wanting to change careers and make this dream a reality. Her mother got on board with her daughter’s vision, and Hope’s shop opened in August of 2014.
